The hammer is an indispensable tool to the smith, but a version of the hammer is used in almost every trade. It is the ultimate symbol of industry & labor, the sanctity of a job well done and a wage well earned. When a smith lifts their hammer, they lift themselves up, too.
This little iron hammer is forged from two pieces of plain mild steel, tenoned together, finished with a skin-safe wax. With a roughly 1" handle and a 1/2 oz. head, I don't expect you'll get much work done with this.
